Project Alpha
Project Alpha is one of three National Programs that have been mandated by the National Convention of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, INC.

Since 1980, the Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, INC. with collaborative assistance from the March of Dimes Foundation have been conducting Project Alpha programs to provide young men with enhanced factual information regarding teenage pregnancy. Project Alpha is a joint effort to provide young men the necessary information to help them make responsible decisions regarding sexuality and teen-age pregnancies and the possible medical consequences of contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD).

It is the hope of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. that by sharing this information we will began the process of changing personal and group behavior to enable young men to consider their individual values relative to teen pregnancy and to focus on positive goals and objectives for their future.
